Special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor
The Houston Rockets are rebuilding a brand from the inside out by doubling down on the beloved H-Town Community. Join us for this peel-back-the-curtain conversation with The Houston Rockets Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer, Julian Duncan. Julian will be joined for this special fireside chat with CKP’s Chief Operations Officer, Jeremy Little.
Julian Duncan joined the Houston Rockets as the chief marketing and strategy officer in the summer of 2021. Duncan has over a decade of brand management and marketing experience with two globally recognized sports brands, Nike and Under Armour. Throughout his journey in the sports apparel industry, Duncan crafted marketing strategies and drove execution at the global, geography, and territory levels elevating performance and lifestyle products across a myriad of sports categories. He has partnered with global sports and cultural icons including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Serena Williams, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Duncan has a specific passion for increasing minority participation in the marketing field, which he pursued in a previous role on the advisory board of the Marcus Graham Project, whose mission is to identify, expose, mentor, and train ethnically diverse women and men in various aspects of marketing and brand management. Duncan is a native of Houston, a proud alum and former student-athlete from Rice University, where he earned a dual degree in Sport Management and English, and later returned for an MBA from Rice Business.

Little has more than a decade of experience in strategic communications, including public relations, media relations, social media marketing, public policy advocacy, and communications management consulting. He moved from the Northeast to Houston, Texas (for the second time) in 2016 to join CKP as a communications strategist. Jeremy’s extensive communications background includes working with New York Times best-selling authors, government officials, and James Beard Award-winning chefs. Jeremy attended Colby College in Waterville, Maine, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Government.
