We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Social Media and Digital Marketing Specialist. This is a hybrid role, (not remote). In this role, you will create, design, and manage digital content for a variety of strategic marketing and communications channels. The ideal candidate will have a proven success creating effective social media and digital content campaigns, is an excellent writer, can create high quality graphics and attention-getting videos for social campaigns, eblasts and newsletters. You will also be organized and enjoy managing multiple priorities and projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and execute social media strategy for effective audience engagement and audience growth
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of digital content based on data-driven decision-making, pointed to the goals for each initiative
- Write, design, and edit engaging digital content, such as social media posts and videos, website content, newsletters, and multimedia presentations
- Plan, create, maintain, and analyze digital content to improve results for communication platforms
- Evaluate the effectiveness of social media and other digital communication campaigns to report outcomes and improve results
- Capture photography and video of client events and initiatives, programs and activities for social media and digital marketing purposes
- Interact with clients regularly to obtain information for planning, content development, approvals and to provide reporting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, digital marketing, multimedia journalism or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant social media and digital marketing experience, whether in-house or working for an agency
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient in all aspects of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn; YouTube and Threads
- Proficient in using Canva, Mail Chimp and social media content management platforms
- Proficient in WordPress and website analytics
- Able to provide current samples of social campaigns and content creation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot
- Proven ability to organize and manage multiple projects and tasks to deadline
- Experienced in gathering, interpreting, and reporting social media analytics
