The AMA Houston community lost one of their best last week, Past President Peggy (Montgomery) Fitch. Peggy led the chapter with excellence and grace in 2004-2005 as an award-winning President. Under her direction, the chapter’s membership grew, its special interest groups thrived and she accelerated the Crystals Awards program with record-breaking entries and ever-increasing production value.
Peggy’s heart for AMA was evident even after she rolled off the AMA Houston Board of Directors. In 2012 she helped launch the first-ever Marketing Edge conference and produced multiple Crystal Award galas. Generously sharing her experience and knowledge, Peggy mentored several generations of incoming AMA Presidents and board members.
We continue to remember the many wonderful memories made with Peggy and send our love to Bill’s and Peggy’s family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Peggy’s family asks that donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center.
