Deven Nongbri | Yonder Hospitality | Formerly AVP, Brand Marketing at HCA
Deven Nongbri is an advisor to outdoor organizations, healthcare start-ups and established brands alike. He most recently served as the associate vice president of marketing at HCA Healthcare’s Gulf Coast Division in Houston, Texas, where he helped build the marketing organization and launched HCA’s first new healthcare brand in 30 years. Prior to that, Deven led the regional digital practice at Edelman, and represented clients like The Texas Medical Center, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and UTMB.Â
Previously, Deven supported global marketing and communications at companies like Sara Lee, Johnson & Johnson and AT&T. As an active participant across social media platforms, Deven was an early advocate of, and helped pioneer digital, mobile and e-commerce solutions with the NBA, Dell, Home Depot, Aramco and Shell among many other organizations. He now watches in awe as his teenage daughter out-posts him on any given social platform.
Alex Hancock | Houston Methodist | Marketing Program Manager
Alex Hancock has 18 years of award-winning marketing and advertising experience across a wide range of industries. Since moving to Houston in 2014, she has been heavily involved in healthcare marketing, both in agencies and now as a part of Houston Methodist focused on the DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center. When not building marketing strategies, Alex is a mom to two teenagers, on the board of a local farmers market, and loves to garden, cook, and read..

Kristina E. Mentakis | Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital | Senior Marketing Specialist
Kristina Mentakis joined the Memorial Hermann team as a Senior Marketing Specialist in January 2022. She brings more than seven years of progressive experience in field-level marketing to Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital. In her role, Kristina balances internal and external communications, community outreach, special events and more. Her passion for connecting with others and fostering an inclusive environment has led her to serve as a member of Partners in Caring, and as an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Champion at Memorial Hermann Northeast.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Nonprofit and Developmental Marketing from Baylor University and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and Healthcare from Rice University. Kristina previously served as a nonvoting member on the boards for Girl Scouts of San Jacinto County and Rice Business Partners. She currently serves as the Engagement Chair for Lake Houston Young Professionals.
