Join AMA Houston as we host a panel of nonprofit organizations to talk about Purpose-Driven Marketing: Engaging Communities for Lasting Impact.

Our panel of industry experts will share insights, strategies, and real-world examples of purpose-driven marketing, exploring how nonprofits can align their values with audience expectations to foster emotional connections, inspire action, and create long-term community impact.

Attendees will learn from the successes and challenges these panelists have encountered and discover how marketing can become a force for meaningful change.

The event will be moderated by Jenny Selber Gustafson, the founder and CEO of Like Minds Communications, a Houston-based marketing and communications agency that supports mission-driven businesses.

Founder & CEO, STEM Americas Foundation

With over 35 years of experience in senior roles at companies like Procter & Gamble and BP, Pedro brings a strategic perspective to the world of STEM education and nonprofit leadership. As the founder of STEM Americas Foundation, he is dedicated to creating innovative educational programs for the next generation. Pedro’s work with startups and organizations like the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston underscores his commitment to building stronger communities through education and innovation.

Gracie Padrón
Founder & Marketing Strategist, Padrón & Co.

Gracie Padron, a Cuban immigrant and seasoned marketing strategist, founded Padrón & Co. to support nonprofits and small businesses through digital marketing and branding. With over 100 clients, including Space Center Houston and The Alley Theatre, her firm has helped nonprofits raise over $25 million in donations. Gracie’s passion for creative solutions and her personal journey as an immigrant entrepreneur fuel her commitment to mentoring young women and making a difference in the nonprofit sector.

 

AJ Edenzon-Winters
Executive Director, Special Olympics East Region

AJ brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and a lifelong passion for inclusive sports. As the Executive Director for Special Olympics Texas’ East Region, she oversees a team dedicated to empowering athletes across a vast area of the state. AJ’s professional background spans from launching the first Unified Sports program at Rutgers University to serving in the Peace Corps, where she developed special education curricula. Her deep commitment to Special Olympics and her athletes is truly inspiring.

Jenny Selber Gustafson
CEO, Like Minds Communications

Jenny Selber Gustafson is the founder and CEO of Like Minds Communications, a Houston-based marketing and communications agency that supports mission-driven businesses. A recent Houston Business Journal “Women Who Mean Business” honoree and Greater Houston LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce’s “Allied Business of the Year,” Jenny brings her nearly two decades of leadership experience to her clients which include non-profit organizations, social enterprises and businesses that want to do good. Jenny currently serves as chief strategist for the agency’s clients and oversees its team of empowered women.

Outside the office, Jenny is proud to be involved in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Tony’s Place and the Anti-Defamation League. She is also a mom of three young kids.
