AMA Houston is a local chapter of the American Marketing Association — we have the benefits of tailoring our events to the local community with the support and network of being part of a larger national organization.

Professional Membership is $169 annually. If you have a group of three or more, join under a Group Member! They are available for $139/per person annually.

Student Memberships for full-time students are $29 annually.

You can join online or call the national AMA Support Center at 800.AMA.1150. AMA Support Center will share your information with us. Start receiving benefits immediately!

Yes, group memberships are available for $119/per person. Email memberships@amahouston.org or visit the AMA Support Center for more information on a group membership package.

If you need help using a group code, follow these steps.

No. AMA memberships are held by an individual and are non-transferable.

Yes. Contact AMA Customer Service and tell them the chapter you are transferring to.

The AMA no longer has a member directory available to the public. The privacy of our members’ data is something we take very seriously.

You can make changes to your contact information (e.g., company, title, address, e-mail address, etc.) in three ways.

1. Log into your national AMA account and make changes from your account settings.
2. Send an email noting your changes to membersupport@ama.org, including your first and last name and the local chapter to which you belong.
3. Contact AMA customer service at 800.262.1150.

Yes! Our job referral newsletter lists open positions in the Houston area. Companies may post open positions for a small fee. Anyone can sign up to receive the newsletter. Contact Robert Melvin, AMA Houston Job Referral Director, at robert.melvin@amahouston.org.

You can subscribe to our regular emails by filling out the form in the footer. If you are subscribed and are not receiving emails, add info@amahouston.org to your address book or trusted contacts so that it is in your “safe sender” list.
