Zupt is an international B2B service and technology development company, based in Northwest Houston, specializing in the integration and application of unique technologies into the offshore Oil & Gas and Renewables industry. We are currently expanding our product offerings into “new to us” markets. As a result of these new developments, our leadership recognizes an opportunity to expand our digital presence.
We are currently seeking to hire a Digital Marketing Manager who has a very strong understanding of the primary digital marketing components including: technical content marketing, social media marketing (B2B), email marketing, search engine optimization, and web design. In this role, you will use your experience and knowledge of evolving platforms to create and execute an in-depth Digital Marketing plan. You will work directly with the Vice President of Commercial to implement the marketing plan, increasing market presence, generate new leads, and increase our revenue. In addition, you will work with various engineering and operations team members to gain an education on our products and services that you will take and drive the creation of marketing campaigns. You will also create compelling technical and social content to be released through the appropriate platforms. Your output will include written, photographic/video, and graphic content to be used in various activities including blogging, posting, mass emailing, lead scraping, etc.
The salary range for this role is $55-80k. The selected candidate will receive paid vacation, 401(k) pension plan, medical, and dental insurance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a track record of driving increased engagement and content amplification by leveraging influencer relationships throughout our industry
- Manage the design, planning, construction, and execution of influencer campaigns by researching and identifying key influencers, bloggers, and online media appropriate to our industry
- Write, produce, and edit regular news and promotion material for various social media platforms, newsletters, or email blasts.
- Use editing and video/stills production tools to create content and marketing material
- Educate the team to the “why” of each proposed activity and how it will impact our B2B relationships
- Liaise with marketing agencies or third-party contractors who may be responsible for executing our SEO, SEM, video and photo content, graphic design, website updates, scraping, PPC and digital advertising buys
- Manage external contractors (designers, website creators, PR agencies, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Marketing or a business-related major
- 2-3 years of work experience in a similar marketing field
- Able to manage multiple projects and campaigns at once
- Background of technical writing, communications, journalism, blogging with a focus on simplifying complex applications of technology is a plus
- Experience in full cycle of B2B (not just consumer)
- Able to effectively manage our social media presence across all digital channels, primarily LinkedIn
- Experience with customer relationship databases
- Experience in content creation especially in new markets
- Experience managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media campaigns
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
- Experience in optimizing landing pages and with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Highly organized and self-driven
- Strong technical writing skills
- Experience with all Microsoft 365 tools
- Highly proficient in the Adobe Professional Suite
- Working knowledge of WordPress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
