We are currently seeking to hire a We are seeking a Digital Sales Representative for HPE Financial Services (HPEFS). In this role, you will work closely with our HPEFS Growth Sales Teams, and our HPE Sales Teams across NA. You will be part of the HPEFS Global Asset Management Digital Sales Team in HPEFS. You will align to the Growth Sales Segment Go to Market sales team and Go to Market Managers. In addition, you will develop strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and be programmatic with a Hunter mentality in driving new customer logos, expanding, and developing with a current install base of customers and supporting campaigns through marketing initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Seek out new opportunities and expand on existing opportunities to build and manage the pipeline and base of customers in IT Asset Disposition (ITAD/AUS – HPEFS terminology of Asset Upcycling Services)
- Maintain knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position HPE’s and HPEFS’ products and services and value propositions
- Develop account territory plan to ensure that they have a clearly defined strategy and understanding of their market
- Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry
- Contribute to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings
- Work closely with and support account executives, providing technical expertise and support, and participating in client engagements up to C-level engagements for more complex solutions in smaller accounts
- Interface with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions development
- Excellent Salesforce hygiene to forecast accurately and develop upside and pipeline
- Manage sales efforts in a defined account segment and meet or exceed all assigned targets
- Build opportunity pipeline, lead engagement process with customer and HPE and HPEFS colleagues, negotiate terms and develop Statement of Work requirements
- Work with Solution Architects to ensure a seamless transition of all opportunities
- Build strong relationships with senior executives at client firms, industry leaders and partners
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the ITAD market and HPEFS competitors
- Develop and maintain relationships with HPE cross-functional counterparts in other HPE field organizations, specifically but not limited to HPE Financial Services Sales, HPE Sales and HPI Sales
REQUIREMENTS:
- Digital/Sales or Inside Sales Experience (preferably within a digital or technology-focused environment)
- Proven track record in delivering business results from a sales or business development perspective
- Extensive experience in sales, sales governance
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Typically, 1-5 years Digital or sales experience
- Knowledge of products, solutions, and service offerings as well as competitor’s offerings to be able to sell large solutions in the IT Asset Disposal marketplace
- Broad command of the value proposition for ITAD services as it relates to financial, operational, business risk, and sustainability objectives
- Understanding of the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated and integration into consultative selling approaches
- Familiarity with financial solutions associated with IT assets including leasing and consumption models
- Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills
- Strategic thinking, able to manage requirements and multi-county needs
- Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives
- Proven business acumen
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
- Strong relationship skills, including partnering and consulting
- Customer and Channel Partner experience
- Willingness to learn and utilize sales pro training.
