We are currently seeking to hire a strategic, data-driven Marketing Manager to drive attendance, engagement, and ROI across our global B2B event portfolio. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of event marketing—from audience acquisition and digital campaigns to analytics and optimization—and you will be central to our mission of informing and connecting the world’s energy professionals. We are looking for a marketing leader who wants to make a measurable impact by driving audience engagement and delivering business value to our customers. Your success in this role will be measured by: Year-over-year growth in paid event registrations; Campaign conversion rates (email, paid media, landing pages); Event engagement metrics (attendance rate, session participation); Marketing-generated leads and sponsor value delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive Attendance & Revenue:
- Lead integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for in-person (primary) and virtual events.
- Develop full-funnel marketing strategies focused on driving paid registrations, audience growth, and sponsor ROI.
Optimize Campaign Performance:
- Manage segmentation, registration, and campaign automation via Cvent, Omeda, and related platforms.
- Create and optimize emails and web pages using HTML/CSS to improve conversion rates and engagement.
Leverage Tools & Platforms for Scale:
- Monitor and report on KPIs including registration growth, conversion rates, ROAS, and attendee engagement.
- Use A/B testing and data analysis to improve campaign outcomes.
Collaborate to Enhance Relevance:
- Partner with editorial, sales, and events teams to ensure messaging alignment and audience relevance.
- Stay informed on energy industry trends and apply insights to refine marketing approaches.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience with skills in digital marketing, campaign development, market research, and lead generation.
- Proven record of success in paid delegate event promotions.
- Proficiency with marketing and event platforms including Omeda, Cvent, Google Analytics, and automation tools.
- Strong HTML/CSS skills for editing emails and landing pages.
- Deep understanding of the B2B energy sector or complex technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing, campaign optimization, and ROI analysis.
- Proven ability to lead projects cross-functionally and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
