We are currently seeking to hire a Senior Energy Industry Content Writer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing strategic and impactful content that showcases the company’s strength as a provider of industrial software solutions and AI technologies tailored for the energy sector. Your role will involve crafting compelling narratives, technical content, and thought leadership pieces that position the company as a leader in the integration of software and AI within the energy industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop content strategies to promote thought leadership and enhance brand awareness within the energy industry
- Craft compelling and industry-relevant content including articles, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, marketing materials, and website copy that resonate with energy professionals and decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to gather insights, technical information, and data for content creation
- Conduct research on the latest energy trends, digital advancements, AI applications, and market dynamics to inform content strategy
- Work with a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content across various digital platforms
- Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and improve organic visibility
- Work with performance marketing to optimize messaging, enhance content effectiveness and drive lead generation
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry regulations, and competitive landscape to incorporate relevant insights into content
- Perform administrative tasks related to content creation, including communicating and coordinating with other teams to design content, create supporting graphics, publish content, and schedule social media posts
- Create supporting material for adjacent marketing teams focused on events and demand generation, including email sequences, corporate newsletters, editorials and more
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years proven experience as a content writer in the energy industry – ideally with some experience at a software or AI-focused company
- Familiarity with energy technologies, digital solutions, AI applications, and their impact on the energy sector
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a creative flair and ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with content management systems, marketing tools, and analytics platforms
- Ability to work fast and handle ad-hoc tasks with tight deadlines when necessary
- A ‘continuous learning’ attitude and inner drive to connect with individuals across the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Energy Management, or a related field is preferred
