Then Weaver needs you! Our fast-growing national accounting and consulting firm is currently seeking to hire a Senior Proposal Writer. In this role, you will help partners and leaders across all of Weaver’s practice and industry groups sell new business. You will manage assigned proposal efforts start to finish, from the kick-off meeting to final document delivery. Projects vary widely in both depth and content, ranging from short letter proposals to multi-volume state government RFP responses. Deliverable formats also vary from proposals in Word to presentations in PowerPoint.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree business (Marketing is preferred), Communications, English or other related disciplines
  • Five or more years of experience planning, writing, designing, and producing a variety of commercial and government proposals (federal experience is a bonus)
  • 5+ years of relevant proposal writing or marketing communications experience, preferably with a professional services firm
  • Experience with the full cycle of proposals
  • Enjoy finding the unique value proposition and competitive advantage for each new business opportunity, and you are comfortable interviewing executives and technical staff
  • Able to thrive under the pressure of multiple proposal deadlines for varied services and take pride in your ability to juggle multiple assignments and anticipate potential roadblocks (all while keeping a sharp eye for the nitty-gritty details)
  • Flexible, positive person who tackles new projects and challenges with enthusiasm
