We are currently seeking to hire a Vice President of Sales to join our rapidly growing, diverse team that has demonstrated extraordinary growth. In this role, you will report to the President & Founder and you will provide strategic leadership to align sales activities with broader organizational goals. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and swiftly implementing growth opportunities for Hello Alice with a focus on expanding revenue streams and aligning with our growth strategy. In addition, you will lead a team to create and execute innovative sales strategies that drive enterprise sales and partnerships, accelerate revenue growth, and enhance support for our small business community. You will oversee all aspects of our sales efforts, currently supporting over 100 partners, including industry leaders such as NAACP, SBA, Amazon, Verizon, Google, Mastercard, PepsiCo, Airbnb, DoorDash, eBay, and UBS. Your focus will be on selling Hello Alice’s programs (Accelerators Programs, Grant Programs, Events) to partners, with a lens on Social Impact and Corporate Responsibility. You will also sell Hello Alice’s recently launched target marketing services to business-to-business (B2B) solutions providers focused on selling to small businesses, including financial institutions (banks, fintechs), technology companies, and others. This will include developing and refining the packaging and pricing as part of the overall go-to-market strategy, working closely with product and program leaders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive sales and strategic partnerships that help Hello Alice grow revenue and profit while leveraging these partners to support our small business community
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with Hello Alice’s mission, collaborating with the CEO, President, CFO, and other executives to drive long-term business goals
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for sales team, driving continuous improvement through data-driven insights
  • Define and optimize the go-to-market strategy, scope of sales pitches for Hello Alice’s enterprise services (Targeted Marketing, Accelerators, Grants, Events), ensuring alignment with overall mission and maximizing impact
  • Own the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, negotiation, onboarding, and relationship management, to enhance enterprise engagement and drive profitable growth
  • Provide overall leadership for the sales organization, fostering innovation and accountability while overseeing recruiting, development, and retention strategies
  • Implement and monitor KPIs for all sales initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and evaluate new sales and partnership opportunities
  • Translate business strategy into actionable goals, managing budgets, forecasts, and reporting processes across sales initiatives
  • Facilitate collaboration across business units, including programs, product, technology, marketing, and engagement teams, to build world-class enterprise partnerships and programs based on partner needs
  • Ensure seamless integration between enterprise services and the main platform, while leading innovation initiatives to identify new opportunities aligned with market needs and Hello Alice’s mission

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree is preferred, from an accredited university
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise sales and strategic partnerships, preferably including financial services (banks, fintechs) and other B2B small business solutions providers
  • Exceptional ability to move quickly and decisively in identifying, pursuing, and closing partnership opportunities
  • Demonstrated track record of accelerating deal cycles and driving rapid business growth in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Proven track record of personally closing high-value enterprise deals and leading a team to consistently meet or exceed sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles, overcome objections, and build long-term, profitable partnerships
  • Exceptional ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with organizational goals, while demonstrating the agility to pivot quickly and seize immediate opportunities
  • Proven track record of creating stakeholder value, disrupting established markets, and rapidly capitalizing on emerging trends in dynamic business landscapes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with executive level presence, and the ability to represent Hello Alice both internally and externally with expertise, credibility, and professionalism
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise partnerships, SaaS business models, and strategic alliance management
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams, fostering innovation and driving growth in fast-paced environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build sound sales compensation plans, manage budgets, and drive ROI
  • Superior agility in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to quickly adapt strategies, manage ambiguity, and capitalize on emerging opportunities ahead of the market
  • Up-to-date understanding of sales trends, partnership strategies, and best practices in relevant industries
  • Proven track record in high-growth environments, with a highly entrepreneurial approach to sales leadership
  • Experience in enterprise services sales, with specific experience selling to financial institutions and other business-to-business (B2B) providers is preferred
  • Strong understanding of small business needs and challenges is preferred
  • Proven track record in developing and scaling partnership programs that support accelerator programs, grant management, or event platforms is preferred
  • Experience in managing and growing relationships with enterprise clients is preferred
  • Track record of successful partnership launches that have driven significant revenue growth is preferred
